Greenberry is proud to announce our 2nd Place Award in the DJC Oregon Top Projects Infrastructure category for the fabrication of a replacement tainter gate for The Dalles Dam. Completed during a critical 14-week shutdown of the Columbia River navigational channel, the 120 ton, 92′ long, water control gate was fabricated and installed within the navigational lock of the dam. The project was completed safely, on time, and on budget. Greenberry also received the People’s Choice Award for this same project.
The category included other Oregon infrastructure projects such as the first-place winner, Redmond Municipal Airport Runway 4-22 Rehabilitation and third-place winner, Spirit Lake Outlet Tunnel Repairs. With such great projects to choose from, Greenberry is honored to have been recognized for a project that is so decidedly different as an Industrial Fabricator.
