VAPOR LIQUID SEPARATOR VESSEL

Greenberry was contracted by the customer to furnish a shop-fabricated 12’ by 65’ vapor liquid separator vessel for use in oil processing. Greenberry fabricated this vessel in accordance with its ASME Section VIII and U-stamp quality programs. A Vortex Tube Cluster was installed inside the vessel acting as an internal fluid phase separator. The final product weighed over 81,000 lbs.

• Fabricated vessel with nozzles, vacuum rings, lifting lugs, and vessel saddle supports
• Designed and fabricated structural supports for platforms and ladders
• Installed internal fluid phase separator (VTC)
• Designed rigging and support system for VTC
• Furnished and installed insulation supports
• Performed hydrostatic testing
• Ensured that quality was within accordance with  ASME  quality manual governing U-stamp work
• Installed 4 inch mineral wool insulation with aluminum jacketing
