Contracted by Lundberg, Greenberry fabricated a large 56” OD HVLC Gas Cooler Heat Exchanger at our Vancouver, WA, facility. This heat exchanger was transported to Catawba, SC, where it was installed in a pulp & paper facility for Resolute Forest Products.
Greenberry performed the complete mechanical design for this exchanger and created, in-house, the required fabrication drawings and all manufacturing details. Greenberry also developed the assembly, testing and inspection procedures needed to ensure that our client’s quality standards were met or exceeded. This carbon and stainless-steel heat exchanger included machining and forming provided by subcontractors, while Greenberry completed all welding, assembly, final fabrication, testing and painting in-house.
The 22,000-pound exchanger was shipped via flatbed truck to its final destination.
